Introducing Agi One, Australia’s First Keratin Alternative Smoothing Treatment
Agi One uses a unique technology that releases nanoparticles directly into and onto the hair shaft to smooth and condition hair.
This dual action technology enables hair to begin repairing from the inside while creating a protective layer on the outside of the hair shaft.
Unlike traditional keratin treatments, Agi One is based on silk proteins and amino acids to aid the hair and its health. A key product feature is that it doesn’t contain any formaldehyde.
HOW IS IT DIFFERENT TO KERATIN-BASED TREATMENTS?
All smoothing treatments including keratin are designed to de-frizz your hair, and Agi One does exactly that, but that’s where the similarities end.
AVOID THE “YUCKY” 48 HOUR PERIOD AFTER TREATMENT
One of the worst parts of having a keratin treatment is the 48 hours straight after application. During this period you’re advised not to wash, pin-up or do anything that will affect the hair shafts. What Does Keratin actually do?
Keratin treatments fill in the porosity of your hair, as overly-porous hair causes tangles, frizz, and breakage. Your hair is made up of keratin, so the treatment is putting the protein back into the hair, which is often lost due to age and chemical services.
Because it is essentially rebuilding the damaged areas, you can expect to see an increase in shine, less frizz, and an easier styling process overall. Make sure you have a consultation with your stylist beforehand to determine the best formula, particularly if you are a blonde, as every keratin treatment isn’t created equally. Some treatments with glycolic acid can shift the tonality of hair color, so a thorough consultation on these points is crucial. Will My Keratin Treatment performed at Hair La Natural Straighten my Hair?
No, it will not. It will relax the curl but we don’t use any of the treatments that contain the chemicals that break down the hair bonds to reform the hair. (These chemicals are suspected to contain carcinogen for humans)

How long will my Keratin Treatment Last?
Keratin treatments aren’t permanent and the longevity of the treatment depends on the texture of your hair and the upkeep of the treatment’s after-care. A keratin treatment tends to last three to four months with the correct shampoo and conditioner. This of course also depends on the initial condition and structure of the hair and if you swim in the ocean or pool regularly.

HOW WILL MY HAIR FEEL?
Hair feels stronger, softer, sleeker and smoother.
HOW LONG WILL MY SMOOTHING SERVICE LAST?
Smoothing results are designed to last up to 12 weeks. Dependant on the service selected, and lifestyle factors. Longevity is enhanced when following aftercare guidelines and using the recommended homecare.
WILL MY HAIR STILL HAVE BOUNCE & BODY?
Hair still has natural bounce and movement, as hair texture is not permanently straight. Natural hair shape and texture are gently relaxed, the natural shape and original texture will gradually return overtime.
WILL MY HAIR COLOUR CHANGE?
Colour change is inevitable, depending on the existing colour. Colour compromise is temporary and your shade can be replenished with a non-oxidising colour product immediately after your smoothing service. E.G. NAK Blonde Collection, NAK Colour Masque.
HOW SOON AFTER MAY I COLOUR MY HAIR?
For optimum smoothing longevity, please wait one week before performing an oxidising colour or lightening service. E.G. NAK Permanent or NAK Soft – colour with integrity.

Please follow the recommended aftercare guidelines. To ensure optimum smoothing longevity, please take extra care of your hair during the first week.
CLEANSING & CONDITIONING
Please wait 48hrs before cleansing and conditioning your hair. We recommend maintaining your smoothing service with NAK Aromas Smooth Shampoo, Conditioner and Straightening Creme, Aromas Oil Spray and Aromas Hydra Therapy Masque or your prefered NAK products.
WETTING THE HAIR
Please wait 48hrs before wetting the hair. If your hair accidentally gets wet, please blow-dry your hairstyle completing with gentle ironing, to re-establish a smooth straight finish which reseals keratin actives on the hair surface.
SWIMMING
Please wait 48hours before swimming or exposing your hair to chlorine and salt water. Pool chemicals and ocean water breakdown smoothing results quickly, greatly affecting longevity, causing moisture loss and dryness. Consider using NAK Aromas Oil Spray, Aromas Ends Therapy and Aromas Hydra Therapy Masque to infuse and replace essential hydration.
EXERCISE
Please wait 48hrs before returning to your normal exercise routine as sweat and water may disturb newly formed smoothing results.
STYLING
Please wait 48hrs before pinning or tying the hair back. Extra care is required, as newly formed hair shape is till processing. Pinning may create tension and leave unwanted indentations or marks.
